Commercial Bathroom Partition Installation

Instructions are included on all commercial bathroom partition orders. These are simple step-by-step instructions for each component of the bathroom design. In most designs, there are three material components: doors, pilasters, and panels. There are several installation applications, materials, and coloring, including stainless steel and granite available.

Measurements

The most important part of your commercial bathroom partition installation is having accurate measurements for each and every component of the room. Engineering drawings are designed according to the measurements of the bathroom space and are also included with your materials. Using the included drawings, make sure you have all the bathroom components and hardware to complete the installation. It is a good idea to re-measure everything to make sure the design and components are correct.

Hardware

All the necessary hardware is included as part of your commercial bathroom installation. The following tools will also be essential: Level, Tape Measure, Power Drill, Hammer Drill, Jig Saw or Hacksaw, Saws-All or Circular Saw, Chalk Line, Pencil, Drill Bits in 9/64”, 3/16”, 7/32”, and 1/14”, 2 Spring Clamps, a 5/16 ceramic tile masonry bit, and a 12” high Spacer large enough to support a panel.

Ready to Begin

Organize all the packages of hardware in order according to use. Start at one end with a panel and then a pilaster, depending on your design layout. Continue in this way until all the panels and pilasters are installed. Next in the commercial bathroom partition installations is the doors. Depending upon the design, the door may open out into the bathroom space or in inside the toilet space. Be sure all the door hardware is included with the doors. ADA hardware includes the door stop, the door pull, and the coordinating hook. It may be necessary to re-install or make small adjustments to the doors hang and close properly. Be sure you do not adjust the orientation of the ADA door to keep compliant with ADA codes and regulations
